Terms of use

These terms cover the HVNEY marketing site and the Hey HVNEY product app/API during private beta / Year Zero. By using the service you agree to them.

The service

HVNEY provides software for embodied intelligence demos: marketing information, waitlist signup, and a product cloud (accounts, devices, pairing, wake memory). Features may change without notice. Public app stores are not required for pilot access.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate signup information.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and paired devices.
• You may delete your account from the app Settings (subject to provider delays).

Acceptable use

• No abuse of pairing codes, rate limits, or authentication endpoints.
• No attempt to access others’ hives or device secrets.
• No unlawful content or interference with the service.

Robots & safety

Software demos are not a warranty of safe physical robot behavior. Teleop and real-world motion remain under separate operational controls (ROS stack / pilot procedures). Do not rely on the product app alone for safety-critical control.

Intellectual property

HVNEY branding, “Hey HVNEY,” and site content are owned by CaissonHQ / HVNEY. You retain rights to content you submit; you grant us a license to operate the service.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” during Year Zero. We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Liability is limited to the greater of fees you paid us in the prior 12 months (if any) or USD $50, except where prohibited.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
